BULDING – UN-BUILDING
During the ‘Building - Un-Building’ performance an animated straw bale, composed of the remnants of the harvest, rises over the plane of a wheat field. The rising bunch confronts with the cement volume of a background silo. The solid, modernistic, volume of the silo –a symbol of industrial production– instantly hides behind the volume of the bunch. After this coincidence the bunch dissolves and lies back on the ground. The animated straw bale stands for the singularity that rises in order to return to its production field.
